Stride is a band that emerged out of Paragon’s inclusive youth music programmes.

Musicians meet regularly for Sunday evening workshops at Berkeley 2 Studios, where the group create their own music in different styles, incorporating the skills of individual group members, with a focus on live performance.

Paragon is committed to finding opportunities for young adults with additional support needs to gain experience in creating their own work, meeting other artists and performing to new audiences. We help to remove barriers and support their musical journeys to enable them to begin a career in the music industry. Recent performances have included Glasgow Music Studio’s Music Moments Festival, Music for Youth’s Exchange, and the East End Free Festival.

Please note that due to to current situation around Covid-19 all Paragon workshops are now taking place online.

The upcoming block of workshops will run on Sunday afternoons, for eight weeks, from 15 August - 3 October. Six of the sessions will take place on Zoom, with two taking place in person at Berkeley 2 Studios as part of a phased transition towards being together more regularly in the coming months.
