Science and Creativity - an exploration through art  Paragon will be collaborating with Scientists from Glasgow University and visitng 3 schools in Scotland to generate projects which investigate science using music and other art forms as a learning tool. The project will culminate in open performances followed by a discussion at the Glasgow Science Centre in 2010.

Improvisation Skills Paragon will be working with 4 schools in Glasgow to enhance pupils' creativity and performance skills in relation to their instruments as well as developing their general musicianship. The project will take place in June 2010.

the spirits of sound at the teenage fair. Workshops with composer and artist Simon Yuill at Hillpark Secondary School and St Mungo's School on his web-based music programme. Users were able to create their own compositions from a library of sampled sounds which are chosen through a graphic interface. The workshops will took place in the autumn term. Music in our Place A project for secondary school students which culminated in a performance at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.  Students from St Paul's High School, Pollok and Drumchapel High School performed alongside Paragon Ensemble as a finale to their 6 weeks of workshops in which St Paul's High School had written a piece based on the mining disaster in Nitshil in 1851. Drumchapel High performed their RAIN music which had previously been premiered at the CCA Glasgow.

New Vistas 20 young composers from Castle Douglas, Glasgow and Aberdeen took part in intensive learning workshops with John Maxwell Geddes and Paragon musicians in order to write their own compositions. Paragon Ensemble performed all of the resulting new works in 3 concerts titled New Vistas.
