Reverb Scotland. Paragon will lead workshops at this event on 1st September 2010  Tolbooth, Stirling - an event which gives disabled musicans a platform to share their music with the world and each other.

Good Vibrations. Paragon will perform a selection from our recent production, To A Bard, with partners Sense Scotland and Artform at Touchbase on Friday 11th June. This performance is part of a daylong event to celebrate Sense Scotland's 25th Anniversary as well as celebrating Touchbase's Unesco status as an accessible music venue. Paragon Home from Home Ensemble will perform in Edinburgh Castle on 16th June 2010 as part of the Scottish Refugee Council's 25th anniversary celebrations. 

 Recent Events 

Resounding Lines. Paragon musicians will play with pupils from Drummore School . The performance will feature a new piece written by the group as culmination of a 10 week project exploring the ideas of boundaries. CCA 5, Glasgow at 1pm on May 25th 2010

Take One. Paragon Ensemble performed a newly commissioned work by composer Tommy Fowler which was recorded and given to Tigerstyle, one of the UK's most successful hip-hop Bhangra Dj's, to be re-mixed. There were 2 performaces: at The Music Box,Stevenson College Edinburgh at 7pm on 9th December and CCA 5, Glasgow at 7.30pm on 11th December 2009  http://www.tigerstyleonline.co.uk/ 

To a Bard Paragon in collaboration with Sense Scotland, Indepen-dance, Artform and Riddrie Resource Centre presented 3 performances at Platfrom Theatre, Easterhouse as culmination of a 12 week project working with mixed ability groups. The music, dance and drama production entertained and informed the audience of the life and works of Rabbie Burns. January 20th, 21st and 22nd 2009.

Home from Home Paragon and Pan African Arts Scotland present a series of workshops culminating in a performance at Kelvingrove Museum on Saturday the 21^st November at 2pm with workshops open to all the family at 11am.

Jewel in the Crown Performances with Paragon and Tiger Style. As part of the Anglo-Sikh Heritage Month Paragon and Tiger Style performed live music inspired by the life of the last Maharajah of Punjab, Duleep Singh. The concerts, which were organized to celebrate the significance of Sikh heritage in Britain, took place at the Tower of London on the 5^th of September, and at the De Montfort Hall in Leicester on the 12^th of September 2009 as part of the Village India Festival . 

the spirits of sound at the teenage fair. Workshops open to the public with sound artist Simon Yuill at the CCA, Glasgow on 28th July from 2pm -5pm. Simon will demonstrate his web-based music programme and give users the opportunity to create their own pieces using a library of sampled sounds which are chosen from a graphic interface.

Recording of new commission by Tommy Fowler. Scottish composer Tommy Fowler was commissioned to write a 10 minute piece for chamber group which was recorded at The Music Box, Stevenson College, Edinburgh in June 2009. The piece will now be handed over to Punjabi Dj's, Tigerstyle, who will manipulate the recording and create a new piece. They will give workshops to pupils at Stevenson College during the process and the new work will be played later in the year in Edinburgh and CCA Glasgow.

Cove Park Residency with Stepan Rostomyan. The Armenian composer Stepan Rostomyan stayed at Cove Park, an artists residency centre on the West Coast of Scotland, as part of an international residency. He was commissioned to write a piece for Paragon which will be premiered in Yerevan, Armenia in autumn 2009 as part ot the Perspectives XXI Festival.  Paragon musicians visitsed Cove Park for 4 days of workshops and rehearsals. An informal workshop was given on 19th September 2008.
